Seraphim

Eight years ago, Seraphim (“Sera”) was found in the back yard of a foreclosure home, locked in and starving.  Fully grown, she weighed only 16 pounds when rescued (she now weighs 29 pounds).

It took about a year and a half, but her digestion healed and she was trained as a certified therapy dog.  She is a graduate of Dog Dynamics in Briones, California (ask for Heather Petrocco), is an American Kennel Club certified Canine Good Citizen, and has been certified as a therapy animal by the East Bay Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

This Border Collie/Parson’s Terrier mix greets our clients, plays with children or special needs adults, comforts those who are grieving, and visits those who are in hospitals or convalescent care.  Appointments can be made for Sera, but Frank has to come along (Sera doesn’t drive).
