
Shortly after completing law school, Jonathan was a civil litigator focusing on professional liability in the real estate and mortgage industry. His cases involved real estate and mortgage brokers, appraisers, and notaries.
Jonathan earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, and a law degree from the University of San Diego. During law school, he was an Extern for United States Magistrate Judge (now U.S. District Court Judge) John A. Houston in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.
Jonathan is admitted to all State and federal courts in California. He is an active participant and sponsor of East Bay Trust and Estates Lawyers (EBTEL). He also serves pro bono for the first HOME Clinic sponsored by the Housing Opportunities Collaborative, advocating the protection of homeowners’ rights.
In his free time, Jonathan enjoys spending time at home, and traveling with his wife and children.
